I rarely re-blog but this was the best part of the Oscars. You’ve been Batched!
The first time I heard this song was on SNL, and I kept thinking why would they put such an obscure band on the show. Now I cant stop listening to this damn song and the rest of the album is really good too. This sounds like the ultimate festival song as you jump up and down with thousands of people.
OK last one…maybe. My view for tonight. #BluegrassBrawl #MMA
Had to get a shot through the cage. #MMA

Unsung Hero Chronicles XVIII - What’s Inside X The Dark and Bloody Ground (2012)
So it’s been a while since I’ve posted a video review so here it is. I shot this video for some friends. And I am pretty satisfied with it two years later. Hopefully you can see it through all the grain. The performance was shot with my Panansonic HMC 40 and most of the cutaways were with my Nikon D5000.
If anything this video proves the value of an on board camera light. That would have improved just about everything so more details were visible.
The sync seems a little off. This was a live performance so I just tried hit certain cues with different songs.
The low light of the venue doesn’t help anything but the colored lights add a little something.
The song definitely has “Heart” i cant remember is this song was my choice or the bands choice. With the theme of the song I tried to show the comradery between the band. I sometimes think I didnt get enough but I still get a little sentimental when I watch it.
The editing is meant to be fast paced with the song but i most took what the action gave me. And tried to add some cutaways for some variety.
As I said before I still love this video and song. My only regret is all of the grain.
Let me know what you think.
